School of Wellness--- --- ---School of Wellness is an initiative of Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence(KASE), Govt. of Kerala and Natura group. Knowledge partners of this venture are TAPMI and REACH.

DISCIPLINE:

All students are required to abide by the following code of discipline of the institution. Any student who violates any of the institution’s rules or fails to perform to the satisfaction of this institution will be subject to discipline, including immediate rustication. In every instance, the type and level of discipline to be implemented, if any, is within the sole discretion of the management. This institution reserves the right to use progressive discipline (for example: oral warning, written warning, suspension and or discharge), and may choose to do so, or not do so, in its discretion, at any time.

MOBILE PHONES, PERSONAL VISITORS & PHONE CALLS:

You are not permitted to carry and%or use cell phones, pagers, Walkman, Discmans, iPods, Calling tablets etc. inside the institution. Friends and relatives should be informed that personal phone calls and visitors are not allowed during the class time. If it is an emergency, tell your supervisor.

PUNCTUALITY AND PREPARATION (STUDENTS TAKE RESPONSIBILITY):

Ensure they know and understand what is required for successful completion of the program.
Attend classes at the allocated time and carry out all other self-directed learning%studying on the allocated reading or study days as required.

PERSONAL HYGIENEAND APPEARANCE ( STUDENTS TAKE RESPONSIBILITY):

Being neat and clean is very important. You must take personal pride in your appearance and personal hygiene.
All are required to be clean, free of offensive odor and neat in appearance. Finger nails should be properly trimmed.
You must be neatly and appropriately dressed. Long hair must be tied back above shoulders and short hair, brushed away from the face and pinned back.

UNIFORM POLICY:

It’s a must to wear uniforms at School of Wellness campus in all working days. Uniforms must be neat, clean, wrinkle free and properly fitting. You should wear closed black, low-heeled, rubber-soled shoes.

HONESTY and INTEGRITY:

No student shall cheat on examination or any other academic assignment.
Students are held to high standards of honesty and are expected to refrain from any acts which may diminish the trust our guests, or the trust the institution%spa has placed in its employees, students and society.

ATTENDANCE:

A student who is not in the class when attendance is taken will be marked absent.
At least 75% attendance is required to attend the final examination.

LEAVE or ABSENCE:

A student requiring leave for a portion of a class must apply to the teacher in person before the class begins.
A Student requiring leave for a whole session or more must apply for it in writing to the Head of the Institution.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Inform your supervisor of any changes in address, telephone number, and the name and number of emergency contact persons.

TECHNOLOGY (IT) POLICY:

Network users are encouraged to develop uses which meet their individual educational needs and which take advantage of the network’s functions.

Don’ts:

Removing any IT equipment from IT labs
Downloading or copying information on to disks or hard drives without prior teacher approval.

Controls that are in place to monitor the network are:

All internet content is monitored and filtered according to a pre-defined set of rules
All email sent externally is scanned for content
Any breach of these rules can result in access to the internet and%or the College network being revoked.

FEES:

The fee once paid will be non-refundable & non-transferable.
However, in case any student is not able to attend the course for that semester; may postpone the course till maximum 12 months.
Students have no option of paying the course amount installments except PG students.
